Fair-Faced Concrete Formwork

Fair-faced formwork is a type of construction formwork. It is made from high-quality wood panels such as birch, poplar, pine, fir, and eucalyptus, with its surface impregnated with highly water-resistant phenolic resin and formed into wooden plywood formwork through high-temperature hot pressing. Its surface is smooth and flat. It is named "fair-faced formwork" because the concrete poured with this formwork has a smooth surface. It is mainly applicable as formwork for structures in high-rise buildings, such as shear walls and vertical wall panels, as well as dams, tunnels, bridges (including overpasses and arch bridges), and beam columns.
